Scholarships & Funding
Below are scholarship and funding considerations categorized by the sponsor / sponsor type. Deadlines, eligibility, and program requirements vary per scholarship. Students are also encouraged to talk with their department and the department (or organization) leading the program to inquire about additional funding. This is a great starting point but is by no means comprehensive. Students should do their own research to find supplemental scholarships they may be eligible for.
*Please Note: Being awarded funding in no way guarantees acceptance into a Samford Abroad program. Visit abroad.samford.edu for more information regarding eligibility, application requirements, evaluation processes, and more.

Crowd Funding:
Consider getting friends and family to sponsor you through a crowd funding source. TIPS: Set "incentive" amounts (e.g. "If you donate $10, I will send you a postcard"). Allow low, middle and high donation incentives but don't make so many you can't keep up. If you have former teachers on your list, offer to do classroom presentations in return for a donation.Crowd Funding:
